The program is led by Dr. Faraj Edher, a prosthodontist, and Dr. Rana Tarzemany, a periodontist. Both have extensive experience in implant dentistry and education. Additional prosthodontists, periodontists, and oral surgeons may join the program as needed for advanced modules or for the live surgical modules.

The total cost is $15,000. This includes a $2,500 registration fee and 10 monthly installments of $1,250 from January to October 2025.

The tuition is all-inclusive, covering: CE credits, all implants, components, materials (including bone grafting materials), surgical planning, lab fees, sundries, meals and beverages during in-person sessions, CE certificates, comprehensive reading materials, and additional resources. Yes, there are three live patient modules where participants will place implants, perform second-stage surgery and take impressions, and insert the final restorations on their patient.

You will select a patient from your practice based on criteria provided by the program. The case will be reviewed and approved by the instructors to ensure it’s appropriate for the learning experience.

While the program teaches principles applicable to all implant systems, Nobel Biocare is the partner for this program. Hands-on and live patient components will use Nobel Biocare implants and components.

Yes, participants will receive a free surgical kit, free prosthetic kit, an introductory bundle with exclusive discounts, free implant planning software, and a free implant swap program.

Yes, you can participate in all theoretical and hands-on components. However, for live patient modules, you can only observe, not perform procedures, due to licensing requirements.

Virtual modules are video-recorded sessions that you can access for a specified period (usually 1-2 weeks). You can complete them at your own pace within that timeframe.

Yes, participants will receive a comprehensive package of reading materials, including handouts, articles, and recommended textbooks.

The patients you bring to the program are your patients, and you have full discretion over what to charge them. Many participants choose to offer a discounted rate or even provide the treatment for free, considering the educational setting. However, we recommend charging at least a nominal fee to ensure patient seriousness and commitment to the process. The program itself does not charge patients directly.

Yes, Module 11 specifically focuses on complications in implant dentistry, including implant failures and how to manage them.

Absolutely. We pride ourselves on providing extensive ongoing support after the program concludes. This includes the opportunity to review your first few cases with the instructors, receive guidance on treatment planning, and get support for any complications you may encounter. Our goal is to ensure your long-term success in implant dentistry, so you’ll always have a team to turn to as you build your confidence and skills.

The program focuses on single tooth implants and short-span bridges. More advanced cases like full arch implants are introduced theoretically but not performed during live patient modules.

There are several hands-on components, including workshops on models and pig jaws, as well as the live patient modules where participants perform actual implant procedures.

There is no set deadline, but registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Given the limited spots, early registration is recommended to secure a place in

the program.

This program is designed as a mini-residency, offering a comprehensive, year-long curriculum that goes beyond just the basics. It provides a structured, hands-on approach with live patient experience, ongoing mentorship, and a focus on both surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry.

Absolutely. While we use Nobel Biocare for hands-on and live patient components, the principles and techniques taught are applicable to all implant systems. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of implant dentistry that can be applied regardless of the system you choose to use in your practice.

The program includes dedicated sessions for collaborative treatment planning. You’ll have the opportunity to present your cases, receive feedback from instructors and peers, and participate in planning discussions for all participants’ cases, providing a rich learning experience.

While the program follows a structured timeline to ensure comprehensive coverage of all aspects of implant dentistry, we understand that participants have busy schedules. Virtual modules offer some flexibility, allowing you to complete them at your own pace within a specified timeframe. For in-person modules, dates are set in advance to allow for proper planning.

The program is designed to give you a complete skill set for implant dentistry. Beyond just the clinical skills, you’ll learn about patient communication, treatment planning, managing complications, and integrating implant services into your practice. The ongoing mentorship also supports you as you begin to offer implant services independently.

In addition to clinical skills, the program covers a wide range of essential non-clinical aspects of implant dentistry. This includes patient communication strategies, case presentation techniques, proper use of intake forms and consent forms, team training for implant procedures, surgical setup protocols, inventory management, and effective lab communication. These skills are crucial for successfully integrating implant services into your practice and ensuring smooth operations.

After completing the program, participants can expect to be comfortable with:

– Treatment planning and CBCT interpretation

– Virtual implant planning

– Atraumatic extractions

– Socket preservation and bone grafting

– Free Gingival Grafts (FGG)

– Connective Tissue Grafts (CTG)

– Implant placement

– Second stage surgery

– Implant impressions

– Fabrication of implant temporary and final restorations

– Ongoing maintenance and recall protocols

The program is designed to keep pace with the rapidly evolving field of implant dentistry. It incorporates the latest digital workflows, including CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, and computer-guided implant planning and placement. Participants will also learn about advanced materials and techniques in bone grafting and soft tissue management. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect the most current evidence-based practices in implant dentistry.

Yes, networking is a key component of the program. The small group size and interactive nature of the sessions provide ample opportunities to connect with fellow participants and instructors. This creates a supportive community of peers that often extends beyond the duration of the program, allowing for continued knowledge sharing and professional growth.

During the program, participants have access to comprehensive reading materials, online resources, and a dedicated learning portal. After the program, graduates continue to have access to ongoing mentorship, case review opportunities, and a professional network of fellow alumni and instructors. Additionally, graduates may have the opportunity to participate in advanced modules or refresher courses in the future.
