Mastering the Art and Science of Endodontics

This comprehensive course explores ground-breaking concepts and outlines the essential skills needed to master the art of endodontics, empowering participants with the expertise and confidence to deliver optimal care. The course will showcase the application of ProTaperTM Gold Rotary and ReciprocTM Blue Reciprocating NiTi instrumentation for safe and efficient canal shaping. Choose whether you want to shape your canals using Continuous Rotation or Reciprocation. The result is increased resistance to cyclic fatigue with more confidence in your hands.

Further, the course covers predictable irrigation protocols utilizing Passive Sonic Irrigation, along with the vertical condensation of thermo-softened gutta-percha through The Continuous Wave of vertical condensation.

During this exciting presentation, the attendee will receive hands-on experience in a workshop `environment using extracted teeth and 3-D printed tooth models.

The INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Gary Glassman graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1984 and was awarded the James B. Willmott Scholarship, the Mosby Scholarship and the George Hare Endodontic Scholarship for proficiency in Endodontics. A graduate of the Endodontology Program at Temple University in 1987, he received the Louis I. Grossman Study Club Award for academic and clinical proficiency in Endodontics. In 2024 he was awarded the prestigious Award of Merit from the Ontario Dental Association in recognition for his exceptional contributions to the field of dentistry.

The author of numerous publications, Dr. Glassman lectures globally on endodontics, is on staff at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in the graduate department of endodontics. As Adjunct Professor of Dentistry and Director of Endodontic Programming from 2010-2017, Gary helped develop the dental school curriculum for the Oral Health Science programme for the University of Technology, Kingston, Jamaica.

Chief Dental Officer for dentalcorp Canada and Faculty Chair for DC Institute, Gary is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Fellow of the American College of Dentists, endodontic editor for Oral Health dental journal, Editorial Advisory Board member for Inside Dentistry and Staff Endodontist for Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto.
