Dr. Faraj Edher is a leading Canadian prosthodontist, educator, and innovator in aesthetic, implant, and reconstructive dentistry. He is the Founder and Director of the BC Dental Study Club, Canada’s largest and most active dental education community, where thousands of clinicians engage in practical, evidence‑based learning that elevates everyday practice.
Based in downtown Vancouver, Dr. Edher founded Transcend Specialized Dentistry, a multi‑specialty clinic providing prosthodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics in a collaborative, patient‑centred setting. Patients travel from across Canada and abroad to seek his expertise in complex implant rehabilitation, full‑mouth reconstruction, and aesthetic dentistry.
Dr. Edher is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, where he teaches both dental students and graduate residents in the Prosthodontics and Periodontics programs. His work has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and Dentistry Today, and he is an invited speaker at major national and international meetings such as the American College of Prosthodontists Annual Session and the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.

Dr. Rana Tarzemany, Director of the Graduate Periodontics Program at UBC, is a leading periodontist specializing in periodontal health, gum and bone grafting, and dental implants. She earned her dental degree from Azad Tehran Dental School and completed a Ph.D. and Diploma in Periodontics at UBC.
A Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, her award-winning research on wound healing has earned honors such as the Volpe Prize and Joseph Tonzetich Fellowship. Dr. Renato Quirino Ramos is a Brazilian dentist focusing on esthetic dentistry. He holds a specialization and a master’s degree in Operative Dentistry (UFSC, Brazil), as well as training in Endodontics (IOA, Brazil), and Implantology (UFSC, Brazil). Currently, he is a Joint PhD student at UFSC (Brazil) and KU Leuven (Belgium).

Dr. Gary Glassman graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1984, earning multiple scholarships for excellence in endodontics, and completed the Endodontology Program at Temple University in 1987 with the Louis I. Grossman Study Club Award.
An internationally recognized speaker and author on endodontics, he teaches in the Graduate Department of Endodontics at the University of Toronto. As an Adjunct Professor from 2010 to 2017, he helped design the Oral Health Science curriculum at the University of Technology in Jamaica.
Dr. Glassman is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Endodontic Editor for Oral Health journal, and Chief Dental Officer for dentalcorp Canada. He also operates a private practice, Endodontic Specialists, in Toronto.

Dr. Matt Nejad is a leader in biomimetic, esthetic, and digital dentistry based in Beverly Hills, CA, specializing in advanced esthetic and restorative care. Dr. Nikhil (Nik) Sharma graduated from McGill Dentistry, followed by a one-year general practice residency at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. After completing pediatric training there, he pursued a two-year Pediatric Specialty program at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York. Upon returning to Montreal, Dr. Nik became the Residency Director for the General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, training new dental graduates in pediatric care. He also practiced in private pediatric clinics, serving the local community.
Now practicing in the Greater Toronto Area, Dr. Nik is a Pediatric Dentist and Clinical Director at Apple Tree Dental for Kids & Sunrise Kids Dental. He leads webinars for oral health professionals and actively uses social media to promote pediatric oral health, educate parents, and support dentists in pediatric care.

Dr. Nidhi Kotak is an experienced pediatric dentist with a global background, having practiced in India, the UAE, Kenya, the US, and Canada. A fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, she has also completed missions in Ladakh and Maasai Mara.
Dr. Kotak’s career includes being chief resident during her Temple University residency, winning the Young Outstanding Dentist Award in 2011, and the 2023 Lucy Hobbs “Woman to Watch” award. Her improv theater skills enhance her rapport with young patients, making visits enjoyable. With over 20K Instagram followers, she shares oral health tips and is known in Vancouver for creating a stress-free, child-friendly environment.

Dr. Nashat Cassim, known as Dr. Nash, is a certified pediatric dentistry specialist and Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
He earned his dental degree with honors from the University of Toronto, followed by a one-year residency at The Hospital for Sick Children, focusing on trauma, infections, and acute medical cases. He then completed his pediatric dentistry specialty at U of T.
Dr. Nash is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, teaching dental and pediatric specialty students, and also provides care for patients with disabilities at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. A dedicated educator, he has taught courses locally and abroad, including at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia.
