The INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Faraj Edher is a leading Canadian prosthodontist, educator, and innovator in aesthetic, implant, and reconstructive dentistry. He is the Founder and Director of the BC Dental Study Club, Canada’s largest and most active dental education community, where thousands of clinicians engage in practical, evidence‑based learning that elevates everyday practice.

Based in downtown Vancouver, Dr. Edher founded Transcend Specialized Dentistry, a multi‑specialty clinic providing prosthodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics in a collaborative, patient‑centred setting. Patients travel from across Canada and abroad to seek his expertise in complex implant rehabilitation, full‑mouth reconstruction, and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Edher is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, where he teaches both dental students and graduate residents in the Prosthodontics and Periodontics programs. His work has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and Dentistry Today, and he is an invited speaker at major national and international meetings such as the American College of Prosthodontists Annual Session and the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.
